Events
Early Morning Walking Group
Come and join us for a friendly walk in the park, alongside the river. Breathe in the fresh air, smell the bush, hear the songs of the birds and maybe even meet some of the local residents – kangaroos. rabbits, tawny frogmouth families, ducks, ibis, lorikeets, maybe even a sleepy wombat. What a great way to start your day! Contact Jan on 03 03 9846 2012; info@manninghamuc.org
Ladies Thyme
MUC ladies and friends come together to enjoy a coffee/tea and a weekly catch-up. Special Birthdays are celebrated and the ladies support each other in times of need. They also collect loose change for the ‘Porridge Pot’ which is sent to Malawi, Africa to support the Mphatso Children’s Foundation. Contact Helen or Elaine on 03 03 9846 2012; info@manninghamuc.org
Tuesday Mens’ Coffee Group – The Grumpies
This is a very informal group of retired men that meets at the Redgum cafe every Tuesday to enjoy the coffee and try to solve the world’s problems, so far without any success. The Grumpies draw from a group of about twenty-five and attendances range between eight and fifteen. The focus is purely social based on coffee and conversation. The Group is welcomes all MUC men and friends and we would be pleased to see some new faces. Contact Geoff…
Café Church (Worship)
We worship together with a discussion on all aspects of daily living and current issues (not necessarily religious ones). Occasionally the topics are challenging which promotes lively and thoughtful conversation. Hospitality is about seeing Jesus in ordinary people. Others in the group are all encouraged to lead the discussion if they wish. All are welcome any time to drop in.
