Easter Labyrinth
The Labyrinth goes back to Greek mythology and was apparently built to house a “beast” so it couldn’t get out! However, it has frequently been used as a Spiritual practice and aid to meditation. This is the purpose of our Labyrinth during Easter week. Some have been grown as part of a garden, but many simpler ones, like ours, are used indoors. This is not a day for mourning, but for awe. wonder. love and gratitude. On Good Friday we come to hear the story of Jesus and his sacrifice on the Cross.But Good Friday and Easter Sunday are inextricably linked. As we remember the events of Good Friday, we look forward to the completion of the story on Easter Sunday.
