Westcare
Westcare is a friendly group that provides company for people during the day every 1st and 3rd Wednesday. We commence with morning tea (provided) and a chat, trim stamps for Sammy Stamp Fund until 12.30pm when we prepare for lunch. Ladies Thyme
MUC ladies and friends come together to enjoy a coffee/tea and a weekly catch-up. Special Birthdays are celebrated and the ladies support each other in times of need. Tuesday Mens’ Coffee Group – The Grumpies
This is a very informal group of retired men that meets at the Redgum cafe every Tuesday to enjoy the coffee and try to solve the world’s problems, so far without any success. The Grumpies draw from a group of about twenty-five and attendances range between eight and fifteen. The focus is purely social based on coffee and conversation. Explorers Study Group
Explorers is a discussion group which explores a variety of topics with a Progressive Christianity emphasis. We have a shared leadership with all members freely joining in the discussion. We use books, DVDs, current articles to stimulate discussion. We welcome new members. Our usual format is tea/coffee at 7.30 pm and discussion from 8 till 9.30pm. Café Church (Worship)
We worship together with a discussion on all aspects of daily living and current issues (not necessarily religious ones). Occasionally the topics are challenging which promotes lively and thoughtful conversation. Hospitality is about seeing Jesus in ordinary people.
