Men’s Social Tennis

The “Could Have Beens” meet every alternate Monday evening at 7.30pm, for a couple of hours’ social tennis, followed by cheese, refreshments and convivial conversation covering all manner of subjects. Skill levels unimportant. Around 8-12 players attend, so we manage a couple of sets each. Occasionally non-players come along just for the conversation. New participants are most welcome. We sew together in a private home and may take items home to finish. We try various patterns to learn new skills. No-one is an expert, all…

MUC Knitters Group

Ladies with a common interest in knitting come together to create warm garments and soft toys for newly arrived refugees and asylum seekers and enjoy afternoon tea together. Donations of yarn are appreciated. This will be a time to share what you have been knitting and to hear about a new opportunity to help Aboriginal people in palliative care. Everyone is welcome to attend, knitter or not! Contact Helen or Marion on 03 9846 2012; info@manninghamuc.org
