EMAIL – Choir

Sharing some musical favourites amongst members of choir through email The choir leads the singing for the Fellowship@10 Sunday services and often sings a piece relevant to the theme of the service. Most times the piece is rehearsed only on the day of the service and so choir members can walk up to the rehearsal. MUC Knitters Group

Ladies with a common interest in knitting come together to create warm garments and soft toys for newly arrived refugees and asylum seekers and enjoy afternoon tea together. Donations of yarn are appreciated. This will be a time to share what you have been knitting and to hear about a new opportunity to help Aboriginal people in palliative care. Encouraging to gather at 3pm via zoom and have had cuppa each Tuesday This is a very informal group of retired men that meets at Michel’s at The Pines Shopping Centre every Tuesday to enjoy the coffee and try to solve the world’s problems, so far without any success. VIRTUAL – Sophia

A monthly evening service on the 1st Sunday at 6pm. The service will be based around an ethical issue including the exploration of spiritual and faith responses.  Following a time of gathered prayer, an ethical issue is introduced, information shared and then discussion takes place in table groups using some questions as a guide.  The time together will end with the sharing of communion and prayer. Via Zoom – Men’s Social Tennis

The “Could Have Beens” meet every alternate Monday evening at 7.30pm, for a couple of hours’ social tennis, followed by cheese, refreshments and convivial conversation covering all manner of subjects. Via zoom – MUC Pilgrim Patchworkers

MUC Pilgrim Patchworkers make quilted knee rugs that are given to church members and friends who are struggling with health issues, etc. We make banners, single bed quilts for Australian military personnel serving overseas, bags sent to Africa, quilts for refugees etc. All items are given away, nearly all materials used are supplied. MUC Connections is a group of people who encourage one another to connect with, support and advocate for refugees and people seeking asylum.
