Stitch and Chat Patchworkers make quilted knee rugs that are given to church members and friends who are struggling with health issues, etc. We make banners, single bed quilts for Australian military personnel serving overseas, bags sent to Africa, quilts for refugees etc.
All items are given away, nearly all materials used are supplied. We try various patterns to learn new skills. No-one is an expert, all participate, we learn from each other and no great skill level is required. We use both machine and hand sewing techniques. The group of 12 ladies is very supportive and friendly. New members are always welcome to come and join in the fun.
