Dear Lord.
We give praise and thanks for the good things you give us in this earthly life we live; hope, joy, peace and the greatest of these, love. Because we experience Your love for us we can then give love to others. Amen
To Ponder
Is it not a great thing to know that God’s love for us endures forever when everything around us keeps on changing; sometimes for the better and sometimes for the worse?
It wasn’t until one night when I was watching my firstborn baby sleep that it occurred to me just how great God’s love is. I felt a fierce love for my child and so I realized that God’s love was also fierce and so great that I could but understand a small amount of what the Lord must feel for us all. Whatever love you experience with family and friends, giving and receiving, the Lord’s love is greater. What a wonderful thing! The challenge for us is that we must also understand that God loves others, who we don’t know or don’t like, with the same fierce and steadfast love
