Father God, we give thanks for our families and a safe place to rest. We see the destructive force of torrential rains in different parts of the world. Move us to share what we have with those who have nothing. Amen
Ezekiel is taken by God into a valley of dry bones. There is no life, no water, no shelter, no Hope. It describes the people of Israel living in a place of exile. They have lost their families, their homes, their friends, their land, their sacred places. To lose everything is to sit in a place of brokenness. God made a promise to Ezekiel, “to act” Perhaps, this promise lives on within each one of us today as we rub shoulders with those who are displaced, oppressed, and marginalised.
