Emerging Church is an opportunity for followers of Jesus to explore our relationship with the Mystery that is God – the God that inspired Jesus’ life and teachings. Another term used for our approach is Progressive Christianity. But, we prefer Emerging as it describes an evolution to different ways of experiencing God. Stepping out walkers
A walking group that has been going for 20 years. Perhaps we do not walk as far these days but we enjoy getting together monthly, supporting each other and our walks are always finished at a Café with coffee. Walks in a different location each month, in parks or walking tracks around the suburbs of Melbourne. Meet in the carpark at the Manningham Uniting Church & Community Centre New walkers are welcome. Ladies with a common interest in knitting come together to create warm garments and soft toys for newly arrived refugees and asylum seekers and enjoy afternoon tea together.
