Prayer
Mother/Father God, open our eyes and clear our vision as we try to walk in your ways. As we look with greater purpose may we find your love and example in others, and be surprised in the way your grace is revealed to us. Amen
To Ponder
The blind man knew something about Jesus but not all. He acted and believed in what he knew and had the confidence to accept the rest of the healing of Jesus. Jesus is all about opening eyes, to ‘heal’ and help us to ‘see’, to live in grace, to stand with others, to notice what matters, to accept and share God’s love. As we ponder on our lives, help us to not get caught up in the ways of the world, the minutiae, but to see clearly enough to love and share with others, and to experience the acceptance of God. We wonder how we need to clear away the mud and see with clarity, love and acceptance?
