Father God, we have often seen our neighbour as the person next door. Help us to see our neighbour as loved by God. Amen.
To Ponder
John 3: verse 16 is a much-loved verse that talks about Gods Love for the world through his son Jesus, and about faith in God, leads to eternal life. It is a simple statement. The flip side is, no faith means judgement. The more interesting verse is the one that follows. The coming of Jesus was not to condemn the world, but for it to be saved through him. Perhaps during Lent, we need to ask the question, who is my neighbour?
