Father God, we are so privileged to be blessed to be a blessing to others. Help us to share this blessing and be comfortable with the knowledge that it is a gift from you. Amen.
To Ponder
God promised Abram that through him “all the peoples on earth will be blessed”. It is a remarkable statement. Abram left his home, not knowing where he was going. For many of us, we need certainty. We need to know where we are going where we will stay where we will be safe. Perhaps, the challenge of this passage is to embrace the blessing and accept we can remain safe.
