Swee Ann Koh

Rev Swee Ann Koh was ordained as Uniting Church Minister of the Word on December 13th, 1991.  His ministry focus at Manningham Uniting Church is senior adults.

He is a Chinese from Singapore. He has been living in Melbourne since 1983. According to Swee Ann, “The first thing you must do is to forget that I am Chinese and second thing you must never forget that I am Chinese.”

Swee Ann has a passion for social justice, inclusive diversity, building intercultural communities and exploring deep discipleship with all peoples.

He values hospitality, friendships, inclusion, vulnerability, and evolving faith.

Jesus formed a community of disciples to continue God’s mission in and for the world. Every member is called to follow Jesus, supported by the Christian community.

Swee Ann believes that we are called to witness, to service, to speak up against injustice, to side with the poor and the marginalised and oppressed, to stand for truth and equity. He believes we need to stand with the First Peoples of this Land.

Swee Ann is a self-confessed “foodie” and loves cooking. His favourite cuisine is Japanese.
