Webinar: Managing Year 11 and 12 in the face of uncertainty
They say it takes a village to raise a child. Our parenting seminar series aims to provide parents the tools to manage difficult situations and help them be well informed and involved in their children’s lives.
Over the next 12 months, we have partnered with some of Australia’s most acclaimed professionals to help you feel empowered by developing strategies and techniques to create positive change.
All parents, grandparents and guardians interested in developing the emotional and social competencies of their children are encouraged to register for one or all of these sessions.
This series is an action of Council’s Healthy City Strategy 2017/2021 a partnership between Council and the Manningham Youth Alliance and is a key objective of Council’s Healthy City Strategy 2017/2021.
Year 11 and 12 students now face unprecedented disruption and uncertainty around the completion of the school year. With no firm decisions on how, when or if final exams will be held, many students are understandably anxious.
In this session, Dr Michael Carr-Gregg will provide practical tips on how parents and students can manage these challenging times.
This is a 45 minute webinar with 15 minutes for questions.
This webinar will be held online. You will receive an email with the link and password to watch the webinar 48 hours prior to the event.
