Worship Fully

There’s a reason that Worship Fully is the first tenet of Advent Conspiracy. We believe that when our hearts are orientated toward Christ, the rest of the tenets will fall into place. The way we spend, give and love will radically change when it come from a place of true worship

Bible Readings

Ps. 72:1–7, 18–19
Isa. 4:2–6
Acts 1:12–17, 21–26

God, thank you for the example and expectations we find in the life of Jesus
Help us daily to try to walk in his ways and to find your love and his example in unexpected places
May justice and mercy be our daily goal

Psalm 72, known as the psalm of King Solomon, talks about kingship and its place in guiding the people wisely and fairly, while holding them to account. It reminds us, as we anticipate the birth of Jesus, that his way of participating in and representing the ways of God in this world is for all. His life fills every hole and every situation with justice and mercy. It is a call to live a Jesus-shaped life, that responds to situations in a way that Jesus would have done. Help us to remember this every day and offer the ways of Jesus to others, whether known, unknown, of similar background or quite different. May we embrace difference and look for God in all people
