Holy Habits is written by Rev Andrew Roberts and is a form of spiritual disciplines based on Luke’s model of a church of all ages in Acts 2:42-47. It focusses on ten practices and invites us to reflect on how they can be lived within gathered church community and wherever we live our day by day lives. The ten practices are: biblical teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread, prayer, sharing of resources, serving, eating together, gladness and generosity, worship and the making of more disciples.
Rev Claire has drawn them into 6 self-guided studies with supporting resources which some people started at the beginning of Lent. Feel free to start at week 1 and, if there are enough starting together, Claire can support this with weekly zoom discussion groups.
Andrew Roberts book ‘Holy Habits’ can be purchased through Amazon (ebook) (papercopy), Wordery and Book Depository. Unfortunately, it is not yet easily available in Australia. Make sure you looking at the price in $AUS.
