And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying,Luke 2:13-14
‘Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace among those whom he favours!’
And so you have reached the final station. We hope that these stations have challenged you to consider current issues around the world, this nation, this community.
As you ponder the nativity scene in the stable, remember the messiness of life, the messiness of the barn where Jesus was born, the messiness of the world that Jesus entered on that first Christmas night. When Jesus comes again, it will still be messy – different mess, but still messy.
Despite all the mess, there is always hope. This is the Christmas message – that Jesus came into the world bearing the love of God. And God will come again!
A safe and very merry Christmas to you all. Our church is open to anyone and everyone – please be assured of a warm welcome whenever you decide to come.
