E-waste Drop – recap

E-waste Drop – recap

Over the weeks leading up to the E-Waste Drop Off Day on Saturday 21 Sep 2019, two piles of e-waste were gradually building up in size at the Westfield Drive Hub.

And on that day itself, two truck-loads were sent to the Manningham Council Depot at 620 Blackburn Road Cnr Warrandyte Road, Doncaster East.   Well done, MUC, for saving the earth from being polluted by this e-waste when thrown into the rubbish bins! And special thanks to Tony and Bobfor their labour of love in picking up all these items and dropping them off at the Depot.

May we continue to do our part in protecting the earth and the environment by disposing of our waste appropriately; and as a community, we can participate in this Drop-off event again next year.  We encourage more people who are able, to get online to register a time slot for the drop off; it’s a breeze.

In the meantime, there are a number of facilities where you can take items for recycling for free apart from the Drop-off Day; you may find out more information online at www.manningham.vic.gov.au/recycling-centres.
